Ive decided to do an article about the beauty in the world and the destruction of mankind. You may ask yourself "is there anything I can do to change this terrible situation" my answer to you is yes,you can.I recommend that you go to a walmart nearest you and apply for a foid card (Firearm Owner’s Identification Card)if you dont have any felonies you should be successful.After you fill out the form go back home and wait up to 30 days to receive your foid card through the mail.Now that you have the card go to the nearest downtown gun store and purchase a light weight efficient firearm,also purchase ammunition for the gun. Now stash the gun in the trunk of your car.Go to your favorite local bar.Get drunk,after you are completely slaughtered drunk,get in your car,drive home,now put the gun to good use,by doing so you have already determined your not having anymore kids, you will be gone,and if your lucky enough people that were close to you in life will be so distraught that they will also kill themselves too,which means they can no longer breed evil little humanoid consumers.Thus spawning a chain reaction of mass extermination,by means of suicide.After a couple months mankind as a whole will perish and the world will regain the balance that is crutial for the survival of all other species.The pollution would stop,mass market fishing and hunting would cease,global warming would be a thing of the past.forests will be spared,there would be no acid rain,no toxic dump sites,oil spills, never again. animal cruelty ebolished,fast food joints gone,after a few thousand years voila there will be no signs we ever existed. Dont be sad or guilty that your gonna do it,I mean think about it.You would never get aids,you wouldnt have to worry about taxes,worrying if your to fat will be a thing of the past.Wont be depressed,wont have to ever get fired,wouldnt have to live the pain of your past ever,brushing your teeth,showering,eating,all that other bullshit "gone".

It's completely inevitable. If nature doesn't do it first then we will do it to ourselves, either through war or by our inability to cope with limited resources. Things must come to an end sometime. Though I guess that's because I'm human, and I'm used to the idea of death. And everything I've experienced that has a beginning has an end.It is true the sun wont blow up for a looooong time. However earth will be fried years and years before it even blows up. I think humans will either destroy themselves or an asteroid will do it. Technology will never be able to stop the sun from killing us though. We could *maybe* stop an asteroid if you had enough time. When we made guns, for the first time, we used them to kill other people. When we made the atomic bomb, it was used to kill people. I think that people are just playing God. They are developing weapons and using technology not just for good, but for bad. I think in the end, we will end up killing ourselves.So why not start now?
If you look at the ecology of the human population its artifically larger then it should be. Amongst different groups of people (North Americans and Africans, for example) the resource consumption has easily a 100X difference. If you were to plot the size of the human population vs time from the point of emergence of our species, you would see that the human population growth curve represents exponential growth, the same that you would see in bacteria. In a bacterial growth curve you start out with a slow, steady increase in the populations of individuals, then it beings to accelerate at an exponential growth until resource limitations inhibit growth. Then, the population will plateau where deaths = births. As resources/nutrients begin to be depleted, the population begins to die off at a slow and steady rate.
So, right now the human population is in the exponential growth stage, between 1940 and now we have doubled our population from 3 to 6 billion. Sooner or later were going to plateu, which the UN estimates to be at approx. 9 billion people. Thats only a 50% increase in population, which has happened in the last 60 years. Remember, since were growing exponentially its going to take less then 60 years for our population to double again (assumeing unlimited resources), so I forsee a 50% increase sooner then most people expect. So what happens after we plateau? How long will the plateau last? It all depends on resource consumption. Alot sooner then most people think were going to use up our main energy resources; fossil fuels and water. Look at the war in Iraq, how many people out there think that its just becuase the US needs the Oil? Honestly, I don't see the demise of us as more than 200-300 years away, unless we find some kind of untapped pool of resources that we can use to sustain ourselves, or we stop our exponential population growth and begin to conserve what we have left (haha! yeah right).
